WASHINGTON, DC—Alliance Defending Freedom has signed a full-floor lease at 440 First St., NW, taking 14,796 square feet and bringing the 140,000-square foot building to 45% occupancy.
First Potomac Realty Trust acquired the 140,000-square foot property in 2011 for $15.3 million. It then did a full-building renovation, which delivered in October 2013.
Shortly after, in December 2013, the building was awarded LEED CS Platinum certification from the USGBC—the ninth in the District.
Other tenants include the Beer Institute, Banner Public Affairs, Access Group and Michael Torrey Associates.
