WASHINGTON, DC— A partnership of CityPartners LLC and Sanford Capital LLC has submitted revised plans for its 446,000-square-foot mixed-use project to be built atop the Congress Heights Metro.

The revised plan for the project that fronts Alabama Avenue and 13th Street SE now calls for a 208-unit apartment building, a 230,000-square-foot office building and 26,000 square feet of neighborhood-related retail space, according to the Washington Business Journal.

Maurice Walters Architects PC drafted a revised design that features lower building heights (90 feet) and a number of other elements that included the addition of red brick.

“This project will serve as a hub for people to live, work and shop in their neighborhood, while helping spur additional economic development projects on the St. Elizabeths East Campus,” the developers state in its revised application. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
