FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Former JLL executive Jack McAllister has joined Cushman & Wakefield's Investor Services Group as senior portfolio manager.
McAllister will oversee the Investor Services Group for all of South Florida and will operate out of the firm's Fort Lauderdale office.
At JLL he served as senior general manager, his primary responsibilities included implementation of the ownership's “Value Added” investment strategy for Class A high-rise CBD office buildings totaling more than 1-million square feet in Tampa and Orlando. He also oversaw and directed two project teams including property management professionals and engineering staff. His role included execution of capital projects, tenant relations, vendor relationships and all facets of commercial real estate property management.
Among his career highlights include a successful implementation of $5-million capital improvement program in Orlando and a $2-million improvement program in Tampa. He increased occupancy from 68% to 83% in Orlando and 78% to 88% in Tampa . He also oversaw tenant improvement projects totaling more than $7.5 million.
Prior to 2010 he served as director of global client solutions in Los Angeles for Cushman & Wakefield, where he provided property management services for a 4.5-million-square-foot office portfolio consisting of 31 properties and 59 buildings in Southern California.
