NEW YORK CITY—Squarespace, a website publishing platform, has signed a 100,000-square-foot office lease for its new worldwide headquarters at 225 Varick St., a Trinity Real Estate property in Greenwich Village. The deal was brokered and led by CBRE's Brian Dooley, Rocco Laginestra and Paul Myers.

This Hudson Square-neighborhood location will serve as Squarespace's new worldwide HQ, which is currently spread out among three buildings and four floors on Broadway in SoHo. Squarespace plans to vacate its former offices at 408, 451, and 459 Broadway.

The new HQ will be home to all 260 NYC employees, including designers, engineers, marketing, recruiting and customer care. The company has added 98 employees in New York City since this past January.

The long-term lease includes the three top floors of the building, along with a private lobby and roof deck, totaling 100,000 sq. ft. Though Squarespace does not have a firm timeline in place, the company hopes to occupy the space by the fourth quarter of 2015. Additional terms of the agreement are confidential.
