ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—Trump Entertainment is seeking permission from the bankruptcy court to sell off assets from the recently shuttered Trump Plaza, including furniture and gambling equipment.
Trump Entertainment filed the motion in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware on Monday seeking court approval to sell off the equipment from Trump Plaza, which closed its doors last week, according to the Associated Press.
Trump Entertainment CEO Bob Griffin says the proposed equipment sale includes older slot machines from Trump Plaza. However, he could not say how many machines would be sold.
Trump Plaza had 56 table games and approximately 1,600 slot machines as of Sept. 9, according to a recent filing with the state Division of Gaming Enforcement. See story in The Record.
