Five Lease Deals Lead to Tower Plaza's Full Occupancy

NORWALK, CT—GHP Office Realty, LLC of White Plains, NY reports the signing of five lease deals at its 120 New Canaan Ave. retail strip center here that has brought the property to 100% occupancy.

The five recent lease signings at the Tower Plaza Center total 10,568 square feet at the 25,000-square-foot retail property located at Exit 38 of the Merritt Parkway and exit 2 of Route 7.

The recent lease signings include Brightview at Norwalk Assisted Living Center's lease for 3,420 square feet to use as a showroom to market available units at its Assisted Living Center, which will be located at 162 New Canaan Ave. Also, A&S Fine Foods of Norwalk, a traditional Italian specialty store, signed a long-term renewal for its 1,973-square-foot retail space.

Café Madrid, a Spanish Tapas and wine restaurant, has signed a long-term renewal for a 2,315-square-foot restaurant. Rounding out the lease deals are La Bella Salon's long-term renewal for its 1,200-square-foot salon and dry cleaner State of the Art Cleaners, which has been in business at the center for more than 20 years, inking a long-term renewal for its 1,660-square-foot store.

Kelly Houlihan-Buckley and Meghan McEvoy of GHP Office Realty represented the property owner in all five transactions.

The property owner recently completed capital improvements at the strip center that included a new façade, an updated pylon sign, new landscaping, and a repaved and restriped parking lot.
