MIAMI—The Miami office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance will soon have a new address—801 Brickell.

The national real estate services company, which is backed by New York City based investment manager Waterfall Asset Management, has signed a lease for 8,500 square feet at 801 Brickell and plans to occupy space on the 16th floor of the tower building. The firm expects to take occupancy of its space at 801 Brickell next month.

“We chose 801 Brickell because we consider the location main and main of the Brickell area,” says Coldwell Banker Commercial Alliance Managing Principal Jim McCoy. “We also liked that the building has a solid landlord in Teacher's Insurance, which has been making impressive improvements to the property to upgrade the asset. Overall, we love the style and function of the building.”

Coldwell Banker's Miami operation currently has six licensed brokers and has plans to add 14 more within the year. Additionally, the brokerage firm also has an office manager as well as a marketing manager in place.
