SAN FRANCISCO—Women bring a perspective to the industry that may not have been as prevalent in the past. That is according to real Estate Forum Women of Influence Maxine Webster, EVP in the San Francisco office of Chartres Lodging Asset Management.
According to Webster, women bring a passion and personality “that allows us to view our business and investments from new angels and allow for more balance in the decision making process.”
With 36 years in the business, Webster has a passion for the hospitality business. She personally oversees more than $1billion in hospitality assets, sits on the Board of Directors for the Hotel Asset Manager's Association and is part of the formation of the Consumer Innovation Council. She is a Certified Hospitality Administrator and sits on Starwood's Sheraton Owner Advisory Council. She is also a founding member and Chair of the Chartres Lodging Group's philanthropic organization 'No Reservations Giving, establishing the mission statement, board of directors, grant and volunteer programs.
