IRVINE, CA—Professional Community Management Inc., an Associa company, is working with Irvine Pacific, the homebuilding division of the Irvine Co., to help homebuyers at Cypress Village in the Villages of Irvine master-planned community here feel more welcome to the community. The firms joined together to host a welcome event this week called “Countdown to Closing” for buyers who plan to close escrow in 30-60 days.

The event brings provides buyers with details about how to submit plans for their landscaping or other exterior improvements, allows them to meet the staff specifically assigned to their neighborhood and find out information like whom to contact for repairs or to get information about their home warranty.

According to Karen Inman, president of PCM, “The buyers in Cypress Village are smart, educated people. They want to be better prepared with information. This event is simple and yet so powerful. It sets the owners and the community association up for success and is the first opportunity I have to meet these new buyers and provide them with the information about their community association to make it a very positive experience.”

David Galy, a regional manager with PCM, adds, “By working ahead of the timeline, before the buyers move in, we are seeing compliance with the community guidelines, and buyers are able to gain approval for any improvements or remodeling plans so that they can begin work quickly once they've closed escrow.”

A spokesperson for Irvine Co. tells GlobeSt.com, “This is one of a variety of events taking place for new homebuyers across the Villages of Irvine who continue to make us the top-selling master-planned community in the West.
