BETHESDA, MD—Donohoe Co. has decided that its third property to be developed at the Gallery Bethesda in Woodmont Central will be built as a residential rather than office use.
The company had planned a six-story 90,000-square-foot office building but now is looking to secure approvals for a 200-foot tall residential building at 8290 Wisconsin Ave, according to BethesdaNow.
Donohoe is the second area developer to scrap plans for an office building in favor of residential use, In June JBG reported it would abandon its plans for an office building at its North Bethesda Market property and instead look to develop an 80-unit residential building there instead.
