ALEXANDRIA, VA—The JACK Group has transformed an office building located at 950 N Washington St. into a building featuring more than 50 "plug-and-play" executive office and co-working suites.
The building is called the Agency at 950 and the JACK Group is marketing it to consultants, small businesses, and companies seeking temporary office space.
So far the company has already has leased space to government contractors, photographers, event planners, and information technology companies.
Seven of the co-working offices can accommodate six to ten users within the same organization.
JACK acquired the 26,347-square foot building earlier this year from its prior occupant, the American Association of Physician Assistants, which moved to Alexandria's Carlyle submarket.
The JACK Group is a collaboration of The JCR Cos., CAS Riegler, and Snead Construction. It was created in 2013 to offer such real estate services as leasing, acquisition, development, and construction.
Now the company is focusing on acquiring additional infill office buildings, according to Joe Reger, managing partner of The JCR Cos. The company's preference is for buildings ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 square feet with significant vacancy.
