ELLICOTT CITY, MD—RE/MAX is taking 13,683 square feet at 6021 University Blvd., a 107,000-square foot class A building, as it plans an aggressive expansion in the region. Chuck Breitenother of NAI KLNB represented RE/MAX. The landlord, Merritt Properties, was represented by Vince Bagli, Jr. and Steve Shaw.
6021 University Blvd, is located within Columbia Corporate Park, a three-building office park that totals 267,000 square feet.
RE/MAX will relocate 120 employees from its current location in the Centre Park business community next month.
The company is in aggressive growth mode and expects that 6021 University Blvd., with its "upscale office environment" will help it attract top talent, according to Alex Karavasilis, CEO of RE/MAX Advantage Realty. "This decision is the correct one as it significantly upgrades the overall business environment for its employees and customers," says Breithenother.
RE/MAX has taken space in two other Maryland Merritt Properties in Carroll County and Baltimore City.
