MIAMI LAKES, FL—BankUnited reports it has appointed Gregory Santín as vice president, relationship manager specializing in commercial real estate lending in South Florida.
Santín brings more than 20 years combined experience in real estate and banking to his new position. He most recently served as vice president, credit risk officer with BNY Mellon in Miami.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and entrepreneurship from Babson College in Wellesley, MA and serves as chair and president of the Babson Alumni Club of South Florida, as well as director and board member for the school's alumni association. In addition, he serves as board member and corporate secretary for the Miami Finance Forum; vice chairman of the development committee for the United Way of Miami-Dade Center for Financial Stability; and president of the Risk Management Association Southeast Florida Chapter.
