ARLINGTON, VA—A technology hub launched earlier this year by Disruption Corp. CEO Paul Singh is projected to double in size at the beginning of next year.

Singh previously leased approximately 13,000 square feet of space at Vornado Realty Trust's 2231 Crystal Drive where he housed Disruption and a number of other technology companies in his firm's $50-million tech fund, according to the Washington Post.

In early 2015 Singh says two new partners will join his firm at the Crystal City building that will double the size of his space there. Part of the expansion space will be occupied by a Canadian group of technology companies backed by Halifax-based Innovacorp.

In addition to Innovacorp, Disruption Corp. is bringing in a local office of coding training center firm the Iron Yard to the property.

Singh believes that these companies and the venture capital that funds them will help create a new Crystal City.

“The bet here is that in the short-term I want to build the most productive place for productive entrepreneurs,” he says. “And in the long-term I want to build what I think is a sustainable model for the future of American cities.” See story in the Washington Post.
