CHICAGO—Brenda Gujral, the president of Inland Private Capital Corp., a subsidiary of Oak Brook, IL-based Inland Real Estate Investment Corp., will retire from the real estate industry on December 31, 2014. And Keith Lampi, currently the chief operating officer of IPCC, will then take over as the company's new president.
“An integral force behind Inland Investments' strategic vision and growth, Brenda's leadership, demeanor and loyalty to our firm has served as a model for former, current and future leaders of Inland,” says Mitchell Sabshon, who took over as chief executive officer of Inland Investments last year. “I personally cannot thank Brenda enough for her clear vision, candor and critical support as I assumed my own role at Inland.”
Gujral held several top executive positions for IPCC, Inland Investments and Inland Securities Corp., all part of the Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. She has been with the group for 35 years and served as a director of many of its funds, REITs and other businesses. She led IPCC to record-setting years in 2013 and 2014, company officials say.
After assuming the role of president, Lampi will also continue as chief operating officer of IPCC. Lampi has been with IPCC for more than 10 years and also serves on its board of directors. As chief operating officer, he oversees the company's operations, acquisitions, capital raising, marketing and investor relations.
“With Keith at the helm, and a solid management team in place, we look forward to IPCC's continued success, and believe his appointment is a fitting legacy of the solid, organizational foundation that Inland leaders such as Brenda have built,” says Sabshon.
