BALTIMORE—Food packaging manufacturer Vac Pac will be shifting its headquarters operations in 2015 from the city to Middle River, MD.
The firm has purchased a 46,000-square-foot building at 917 Middle River Road, where the company will relocate 25 employees by next fall. Vac Pac paid $3.2 million for the property, according to state tax records.
Matt Tary, president of Vac Pac, says the company ran out of space at its four-story building at 150 W. Ostend St. in South Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
Its existing 48,000-square-foot building sits was acquired by Caves Valley Partners as part of its planned $250-million Stadium Square mixed-use development. See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
