Former JLL Exec. Joins CNL Commercial

CHARLOTTE, NC—Orlando, FL-based CNL Commercial Real Estate reports that Charles Jonas, a former senior vice president for JLL, will be joining the firm in January to help lead the company's growth in the Carolinas.

Jonas, who will be based in the CNL Commercial's Charlotte, NC office, will join the brokerage firm in early January. In his new role as the CNL market leader, Jonas will continue to be a producer in the Carolinas; lead the company's overall growth alongside his retail partner Susan McGuire, principal in Charlotte; drive strategic acquisitions and talent recruitment with Ken Loeber, president of services, based in Charlotte; and create selective investment opportunities with Pryse Elam, president of development and investments, based in South Florida, the company states.

His top priority will be serving the company's existing clients more deeply and fully, building new client relationships, leveraging the platforms experience to provide highly personalized service, and recruiting talented professionals to join the firm.

Jonas started his real estate career with Trinity Partners where he served as a managing director and oversaw the Office Tenant Representation Group. Prior to that role, Jonas led the firm's national relationship management and business development efforts, assisting with asset evaluation, valuation, and capital deployment throughout the Carolinas. For the last three years, Jonas was the senior vice president of asset leasing for JLL.
