PHOENIX—The Healthcare Real Estate Insights awards were presented for a second time at a RealShare conference December 16. Attendees for RealShare Healthcare numbered 400-plus as awards for outstanding medical office buildings were awarded, as well as executive of the year and lifetime achievement award. Murray Wolf, publisher of HREI, presented the awards. The winners are as follows:

-Best New MOB, 25,000-49,999 square feet: Angel Cancer Center, Franklin, NC. Developer: The Keith Corp.
-Best New MOB, 50,000-99,999 square feet: Los Alamitos Medical Plaza, Los Alamitos, CA. Developer: Pacific Medical Buildings.
-Best New MOB, 100,000 square feet or more: James A. Haley Veterans' Hostpital Primary Care Annex, Tampa, FL. Developer: Duke Realty.
-Best Renovated/Repurposed: Croasdaile Commons, Durham, NC. Developer: Glenwood Development Co.
-Best Inpatient Facility: Baptist Rehabilitation Hospital, Germantown, TN. Developer: Duke Realty.
-Best Post Acute/Senior Living: Beach House AL and Memory Care, Jacksonville, FL. Developer: Prevarian Cos.
-HRE Executive of the Year: Mindy Berman, Jones Lang LaSalle.
-Lifetime Achievement Award: Bruce A. Rendina, Rendina Cos. Rendina passed away in 2008 of brain cancer.
