WALTHAM, MA—Delaware Life will relocate its Massachusetts operations from Wellesley Hills to 37,000 square feet of space at Reservoir Place at 1601 Tarpelo Road here.
The firm is currently based at 96 Worcester St. in Wellesley Hills, according to brokerage firm Cassidy Turley, which announced the insurer's office relocation. Delaware Life signed a seven-year lease at the Reservoir Place property.
“Even in the tight Route 128 market, Boston Properties offered us several options to choose from for our Massachusetts Office,” says David E. Sams, Jr., CEO of Delaware Life. “This space stood out because of its prime location near Boston, as well as its wealth of amenities. We look forward to the opportunities this space will bring.”
Principal and co-president Jeffrey A. Bernstein of Chicago-based Bradford Allen acted as National Corporate Real Estate Advisor to Delaware Life and executive managing director and principal John J. Boyle III and vice president Ryan Romano of Cassidy Turley represented Delaware Life in the transaction. Matt Murray and Dave Provost of Boston Properties represented the landlord, Boston Properties.
“Reservoir Place offers urban amenities in a suburban setting,” Boyle said. “As Delaware Life continues to grow, this space can grow and evolve along with it.”
