PURCELLVILLE, VA—Roadside Development of Washington, DC has put its Harris Teeter-anchored Purcellville Gateway retail center on the market for sale.

The firm, which developed the 88,700-square-foot project, has hired brokerage firm Holliday Fenoglio Fowler to market the former dairy farmhouse to prospective buyers. Purcellville Gateway, which sits on a 16-acre parcel, is fully leased, according to the Washington Business Journal.

Purcellville Gateway is on the market as Roadside has finished approximately $400 million in new developments. Roadside partner Richard Lake says Roadside is working on a number of projects closer to the D.C. line and in more urban environments. Purcellville is located approximately 50 miles from Washington, DC.

Lake says he is pleased with the performance of the Purcellville retail property but feels now is a good time to sell the center. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
