WINSTON-SALEM, NC—Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II, Inc. of Tampa, FL, has acquired the Winston-Salem North Carolina Integrated Medical Facility property here for approximately $6.25 million.
The property, which totals approximately 22,200 square feet in net rentable area, is located within close proximity to the region's two largest hospitals and within Forsyth County, home to North Carolina's biotechnology corridor.
The facility, built in 2004, houses several specialized treatment rooms, including four auditory booths and two procedure rooms that are used for in-office surgeries and procedures. In addition, the property serves as the headquarters for Piedmont Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, PA, which operates out of four locations in North Carolina. The property is 100% leased to PENTA.
“The IMF is designed to help ENT physicians and audiologists provide the highest level of care to their patients,” says Michael Seton, president and chief investment officer of Carter Validus Advisors II, LLC. “We are pleased to align ourselves with such a well-regarded organization in the field of otolaryngology. We are thrilled to be working with high-quality tenants like PENTA and to be able to add this facility to our portfolio of mission critical assets.”
