WASHINGTON, DC—The next two major tenants at The Shops at Dakota Crossing could be Dick's Sporting Goods and PetSmart.
While the lease deals are reportedly not finalized, they are expected to close by March or April, according to a report in the Washington Business Journal. Dick's and PetSmart's possible leases at the Northeast DC shopping center were revealed on a leasing plan that termed Dick's Sporting Goods as “coming soon,” and PetSmart as “lease pending.”
The center, located in the Fort Lincoln neighborhood, will feature the District's first Lowe's. The 135,000-square-foot Lowe's is expected to open by this summer. The Lowe's space was a former Target location, while the Dick's space, if leased, was formerly a Shoppers Food Warehouse. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
