LOS ANGELES—C.W. Driver has hired Gregory Motschenbacher as director of project development for California, GlobeSt.com reports exclusively. In this role, Motschenbacher will be responsible for building the company's network and finding new project opportunities. He will be based in the company's Pasadena headquarters.
“Coming on board into the CW Driver organization is an excellent opportunity for me to be involved in large Construction projects throughout California, especially at such an interesting time in our industry,” Motschenbacher tells GlobeSt.com. “Technology is a huge component as to how projects will be built in the very near future and the potential of the Driver organization to embrace that and to build upon their already strong Construction foundation is really exciting.”
Motschenbacher joins the company from the Brickman Group, where he served as VP of operations in the Western US, and from Trade Link Partners, where he was the owner. In his storied career, he has clocked in experience with the Koll Co. and ValleyCrest Landscape Development, where he served as SVP. Throughout his career, he has worked with high-profile development and construction firms to manage projects in the Western region.
“My immediate goals are to help position and solidify C.W. Driver in markets which are both valid in terms of our strengths but to also steer us into areas which will support future growth and develop our product as we see unique and new opportunities arise,” says Motschenbacher. Dana Roberts, CEO of C.W. Driver, adds, “Greg's many years of work within the construction industry make him a great fit for this role. His operational experience combined with his significant professional network will be a great complement to C.W. Driver's efforts within the state of California.”
C.W. Driver is known for its development projects throughout the region. Most recently, the firm made headlines when it acquired San Diego construction company Good & Roberts. G&R will operate as a subsidiary, allowing C.W. Driver to expand into new markets and broaden its current San Diego market share. Specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
