ARLINGTON, VA—Tishman Speyer has put its Arlington Tower office building on the market for sale after completing a multi-million dollar renovation program at the 19-story property.
The New York City-based development firm has hired brokerage firm DTZ to market the property at 1300 N. 17th St. to interested buyers, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The 397,768-square-foot building was acquired back in 2011 by Tishman from Beacon Capital Partners for $205 million. Tishman then launched a $15.7-million renovation that featured improvements to the common areas and a rooftop deck.
The renovations fueled approximately 97,000 square feet in lease deals in 2014, including a transaction with former owner of the Washington Post, Graham Holdings. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
