NEW YORK CITY—Pembrook Capital Management has appointed Terence Baydala a managing director of the firm. In his new role, Baydala will be responsible for loan originations, including pricing, structuring, syndication, and loan documentation.

A 35-year veteran of commercial real estate finance—with substantial transactional experience throughout the capital stack—Baydala most recently was with Meridian Capital Group, where he served for over two years as EVP, head of structured finance. Prior to that, he served for five years as SVP, commercial real estate banking, for Anglo Irish Bank and ten years as SVP, senior investment officer, structured finance, with Arbor Realty Trust.

“Terry is a highly respected professional in the industry and his appointment is consistent with our strategy of recruiting top talent to the Pembrook team," says Stuart Boesky, president and CEO. “His extensive experience with commercial real estate finance and loan originations, combined with his strong industry relationships, will further enhance the services we offer to clients.”

Earlier in his career, Baydala held positions with Xavier Realty Co., Banque Indosuez, Chemical Bank and other New York based commercial real estate finance firms.
