NASHVILLE, TN—Locally-based residential and commercial development firm Aerial Development Group reports it has hired Mark Biersmith as its president and chief operating officer.
As COO, Biersmith will focus on implementing operational systems that continue to attract people, resources and investors to fuel Aerial Development Group's aggressive growth plan.
“Mark has had incredible success at the C-level and brings expertise from both the operations and transactional side of the real estate business,” said Britnie Turner, founder and CEO of Aerial Development Group. “His experience with public accounting and private equity funds will benefit Aerial as we continue to grow and expand into other markets.”
Biersmith has more than 20 years of international and domestic experience that includes performing more than 73 corporate acquisitions and closing more than $3.5 billion in financings in private and public securities markets. Additionally, he has been involved with the construction of military housing and rebuilding in hurricane disaster areas, the company states.
Previously, Biersmith was CEO of RoadMasters Holdings, an international transportation, construction and logistics conglomerate; COO for Managing Information and Technology Inc., an international software, research and development company; and chief financial officer for a national retailer.
