NEW YORK CITY—The big Publicis Groupe lease renewal and expansion at the Rudin Family Holdings' 1675 Broadway —revealed earlier on Tuesday—is an endorsement for the city's growth, Bill Rudin, co-vice chairman and CEO of Rudin Management Co., the operating arm of Rudin Family Holdings, tells GlobeSt.com.
“The deal is reflective of the continued diversification of our economy,” he says, with TAMI tenants becoming big players. “It's reflective of how the city's economy continues to grow and it's a great statement about the city.”
A long-time tenant at 1675 Broadway, Publicis was courted by Rudin for this latest renewal, which puts the company at the 800,000-square-foot tower until 2031. The advertising and public relations giant plans to grow its space by 100,000 square feet, bringing its presence to nearly 600,000 square feet.
“We've been working on this for over a year,” Rudin reveals. “Publicis was an original tenant and it's always great to continue that relationship. We're happy to accommodate the company's expansion needs.”
