ATLANTA—Alliance Residential Company says that it has opened the 186-unit Haynes House luxury residential project here in Buckhead, part of a more than $300-million development initiative across the Southeast.

Alliance, which is headquartered in Phoenix, has opened The Haynes House, which will be one of four communities Alliance says it will build in metro Atlanta. The firm's Atlanta regional office reports it is poised to either deliver or begin communities in Midtown, Buckhead, and Sandy Springs in Atlanta, in Nashville, TN and in Charleston, SC over the next year with more in the early planning stages.

“As our first delivery this cycle The Haynes House is the proverbial tip of the spear,” says Alliance managing director Todd Oglesby. “It sets the tone for what we will be doing across the South; well-located best-in-class communities in key Southeastern cities.”

Of the projects in the pipeline, the first is The Haynes House, a 186-unit, eight-story luxury apartment community located on Peachtree Road across from Peachtree Battle Shopping Center. Alliance acquired the property in May of 2013 and worked through a myriad of challenges with the neighborhood and zoning officials, the company says. Alliance was able to start the project quickly and deliver the high-end project in 20 months.

This summer Alliance Residential Co. will open Broadstone Court on Maple Drive in Buckhead's business district. It has started Broadstone Folly Beach in Charleston, SC and Broadstone Germantown in Nashville. New projects are also in the works for Midtown Atlanta on Juniper Street and on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs in Atlanta. By the end of 2015, Alliance Residential Co. plans to have several more projects underway across the Southeastern United States out of its Atlanta office.

“We are bullish on the Southeast,” says Oglesby. “If we find a piece of property that fits our model, we have the ability to close quickly, get started and deliver high-end projects that are unique, thoughtful and that our residents will thoroughly enjoy calling 'home.'”
