ROSSLYN, VA—Sands Capital Management, a tenant in Monday Properties' Twin Towers, is moving across the street next year to occupy 80,000-square feet in the sister building. It is currently located at 1101 Wilson Blvd., and will move to 1000 Wilson Blvd. to occupy the top four floors at 1000 Wilson Blvd.

As part of the deal Monday Properties is building a new roof deck atop the 31st floor at 1000 Wilson Blvd.

Avison Young represented Sands Capital Management in the lease. Monday Properties was represented in-house and by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Last month Monday Properties renewed three long-term office leases totaling more than 80,000 square feet at its Twin Towers office complex.

The tenants were Aerospace Industries Association, which renewed its 19,102-square-foot lease at 1000 Wilson Blvd.; SRI International, which renewed 59,361 square feet at 1100 Wilson Blvd., and Creative Computing Solutions, which renewed 4,176 square feet at 1100 Wilson.

Monday Properties' Twin Towers consist of more than one-million-square feet of trophy office space. They are LEED-EB Gold certified and were recently awarded Outstanding Building of the Year by AOBA/BOMA.
