HOUSTON—Cadence McShane Construction Co. has promoted Colby Rose to vice president. Rose will relocate to the company's regional Houston office from its Addison headquarters.

“I greatly appreciate the opportunity that I have been offered with Cadence McShane, and I look forward to strategically contributing to the successful track record of the company that has already been established in the Houston market,” Rose told GlobeSt.com. “The fact that this promotion came from within Cadence McShane shows a true commitment to the career growth of our people, and how integral the firm's culture is to our overall success.”

Since joining the company in 2008, Rose has completed numerous high profile and diverse construction projects on behalf of the firm. Now, as vice president, Rose will be responsible for the management of Cadence McShane's project personnel and support teams, the development and expansion of new business opportunities, and the strategic planning and execution of the firm's growth within its key market sectors.

“We are pleased to welcome Colby Rose to this leadership role within Cadence McShane Construction,” says Will Hodges, president of Cadence McShane. “Colby has been an asset to our team for many years and continues to demonstrate his capabilities as a leader through his dedication to the firm and the assignments that he partakes in. We look forward to implementing Colby's expert direction to continue the firm's strategic growth and expansion throughout Houston, the State of Texas and on a national basis.”

Rose is a LEED accredited professional and a member of TEXO, the Texas affiliation of The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
