DALLAS--Venture Commercial Real Estate has represented WinCo Foods in lease negotiations for an 83,000-square-foot store in Lewisville, marking the discount grocer's 100th store opening. The Lewisville WinCo Foods is set to open tomorrow at 1288 West Main St. in the recently redeveloped Old Orchard Village East center.
"We are proud to be a part of the WinCo team and to share in this accomplishment of opening their 100th store," Kevie Beard, senior vice president of Venture Commercial, told GlobeSt.com. "I know WinCo Foods is looking forward to serving customers in Lewisville and the surrounding area with this new location, and the boost in traffic will certainly help draw other retailers to the center."
Beard, McGregor Converse, Jonathan Cooper and Theo Thompson of Venture represented Boise, Idaho-based WinCo Foods LLC. Matt Luedtke of The Weitzman Group represented the landlord. Caroline Woodbury and Don Woodbury of DWC Commercial Properties LC coordinated acquisition, development and entitlement of the property.
The Lewisville location will be the fifth WinCo Foods store to open in North Texas, following openings in 2014 in Fort Worth, McKinney, Duncanville and North Richland Hills.
