SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ—A fencing school's students will be parrying thrusts in 13,000 square feet of industrial space leased to it by NAI Hanson at 60 Saddle River Avenue in South Hackensack, New Jersey.

Jeff DeMagistris, SIOR and Tom Vetter, SIOR, senior vice presidents with NAI Hanson, marketed the space and managed the transaction on behalf of the industrial property's owner, Safer Development and Management, Inc.

The new tenant, Durkan Fencing Academy, leased the space because of the facility's prime location, approximately two miles from the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 80.

The company was also attracted to the space's ample parking.

“We worked closely with our client to identify the various types of uses for this versatile space,” says DeMagistris. “The ideal location between I-80 and the Garden State Parkway allows the academy to draw students from all parts of Northern New Jersey.  The available parking as well as the interior square footage will comfortably support competitive fencing and enable the academy to continue its growth.”
