TYSONS, VA—Another day, another announcement of a new Whole Foods Market location here. Following news this week that Whole Foods will be taking 40,000-square feet at 965 Florida Ave., NW, the grocery store chain has announced it has signed a lease for a 70,000-square foot flagship store at The Boro. It will consist of roughly 1.8 million square feet of residential space, 1.3 million square feet of office, 316,000 square feet of retail, and 250,000 square feet of hotel space.

Phase One of the project is expected to deliver in 2018. It will feature 945,000 square feet of apartments and condominiums, 154,000 square feet of retail -- including the Whole Foods Market store and 84,000 square feet of storefront retail -- a 112,000-square-foot cinema, 400,000 square feet of office space, and a 1-acre public park.
