NEW YORK CITY—Ralph Giordano has joined CBRE's Midtown office brokerage group as a SVP.? Giordano brings with him nearly two decades of experience in the industry, including a stint as VP at the firm from 1999 to 2004.

Most recently, Giordano was a senior managing director at DTZ. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Trammell Crow from 2004 to 2008.

“Ralph has a history of providing creative portfolio strategies and a wide range of transaction services to his clients,” says Kyle Schoppmann, executive managing director, New York City tri-state region. “He's a talent on the rise and it's great to have him back at 200 Park.”

Giordano has worked with an array of noteworthy global clients including Citibank, Coty, JPMorgan Chase and Random House. He has managed real estate portfolios in excess of 75 locations, and spearheaded projects ranging from large-scale consolidations to sale leasebacks and multimarket relocations.

Among his major assignments, Giordano completed the assemblage of a 300,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at the Empire State Building, the sale of a 450,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Mt. Olive, NJ, and a 350,000-square-foot consolidation and extension at 1745 Broadway.

His overseas activities have included lease transactions in Geneva, Frankfurt, London and Milan, among others. Giordano credits his financial background as a key to his success in helping large institutions achieve their strategic real estate goals.
