ROCKVILLE, MD—A division of the Resmark Cos. and Streetscape Partners report they have formed a joint venture to develop a new townhome development at the master planned King Farm community here.

Resmark Land and Housing of Los Angeles and Streetscape Partners based in Rockville will develop 53 for-sale townhomes at the 440-acre master planned community of King Farm. The four-story townhomes will range in size from 1,800 square feet to 2,250 square feet and will have three, four or five bedrooms and 2.5 or 3.5 baths. Decks and rooftop terraces are available in select units. Rear entry garages will accommodate two cars. No development cost for the project was released.

“This project marks our second collaboration with Streetscape and we're thrilled to bring this exciting new project to fruition with them as our partner,” says Alexandra Johns, senior vice president investments, Resmark Land and Housing. “Its location on King Farm Boulevard offers a walkable lifestyle with access to transportation, retail, and recreation.”

“The King Farm community and its surroundings are among the project's greatest draws," says Harris Schwalb, co-founder and co-managing Principal of Streetscape. "Some of the largest employers in Rockville, great retail, a Sheraton Hotel, ample entertainment options and highly ranked schools are within walking distance from the townhomes."

Resmark and Streetscape are joint venture partners in “10Eleven” at 1011 M Street, a 71-unit condominium development located in the historic Logan Circle area of Washington, DC that broke ground in December 2014.
