DALLAS--Hunt Mortgage Group has announced that Dana Blair has joined the company as vice president in the small loan group.
In the role, she will source and originate Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae small loans for clients in the central region of the U.S., which includes Texas and surrounding states. She will be based in Dallas, and will report to Rick Warren, senior managing director for mortgage banking.
“Dana is a seasoned financial services executive with more than 15 years of experience in commercial loan origination, underwriting and analysis,” Warren said. “She also has vast knowledge in agency lending and the multifamily sector. We are confident she will help us expand our footprint in Texas and the central region and achieve our overall growth goals.”
Blair comes to Hunt Mortgage Group from Bank Financial in Plano, where she was a vice president of apartment lending. Before that she was assistant vice president, mortgage banker at Gulfshore Bank in Tampa, FL. Earlier in her career, she served as first vice president at Love Funding in Dallas and Tampa; senior loan consultant at Washington Mutual in Irving; and assistant vice president at KeyBank Real Estate Capital in Cleveland and Dallas.
