WASHINGTON, DC—Developer PN Hoffman held a “topping out” ceremony on Wednesday for its 525 Water condominium building at The Wharf development on the southwest waterfront.

The five-story, 105,000-square-foot building is located across from the Arena Stage. The 525 Water building, which will front a 3.5-acre waterfront park, will feature 108 condominium homes ranging from studios to three bedrooms, with homes starting at $400,000. The building, which is designed to LEED Silver standards, will feature Potomac River views, a residents' clubroom and an interior courtyard. 525 Water is set for delivery in the summer of 2016. PN Hoffman states that pre-sales will begin in the early fall of this year.

“Homes at 525 Water will have state-of-the-art amenities, and many offer stunning views of the water,” says Monty Hoffman, CEO of PN Hoffman. “The building is two blocks from the Waterfront Metro Station and is the southern gateway to The Wharf, with its mile-long promenade along the Potomac River as part of a vibrant waterfront lifestyle community.”

Madison Marquette, a partner with PN Hoffman at The Wharf, is also a partner in the 525 Water project. Balfour Beatty is the general contractor. SK&I Architectural Group is the architect. Cardinal Bank provided construction financing. PN Hoffman is the managing member of Hoffman-Madison Waterfront, a joint venture of PN Hoffman and Madison Marquette, which is developing the $2-billion, 3.2-milion-square-foot The Wharf development being built on one mile of Washington, DC's southwest waterfront.
