PARAMUS, NJ—Nelnet – a leader in providing interactive marketing solutions within the higher education sector – has renewed its lease for 8,032 square feet of office space at Country Club Plaza, 115 West Century Road, in Paramus, NJ for another year, while it continues to look for a permanent long-term location.

NAI James E. Hanson executive managing director Michael G. Walters and sales associate Russell J. Verducci brokered the lease on behalf of the tenant. Nicole Steimel from CBRE represented the landlord. The building is owned by Country Club Plaza LLC and master leased by Toys R Us.

The office space will continue to serve as headquarters for Sparkroom, formerly known as CUnet, a subsidiary of Nelnet. The company has renewed its lease for one year.

Country Club Plaza is a 239,017-square-foot class A office building located in the Bergen Central Cluster, in close proximity to Routes 4 and 17 as well as the Garden State Parkway. Amenities include on-site daycare and food service.

NAI Hanson prioritizes partnerships with its clients and helping them find solutions that best meet their needs,” says Walters. “Nelnet is in the process of looking for its ideal, long-term location, which is an important step and will take more time. As a result, we worked with them on remaining at Country Club Plaza for another year.”

Correction, 7/7/2015: Country Club Plaza is owned by Country Club Plaza LLC, and not by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. Because of incorrect information provided by NAI Hanson, the owner was misidentified in an earlier version of this story.
