AUSTIN, TX—CohnReznick has brought in 20-year commercial real estate veteran Quinn Gormley to serve as director, real estate consulting, in its Austin office. Gormley brings a background geared mainly to affordable housing and economic development to CohnReznick.
“Quinn has deep industry knowledge and an impressive track record,” says Matt Stille, office managing partner, Austin. “We look forward to the contributions that Quinn will bring to our Austin office and real estate consulting practice throughout the Firm's South/Central region.”
Gormley calls on his extensive experience in structured financing, including conventional and tax-exempt revenue bond transactions. He has provided multilevel oversight on the development and initial operation on over 6,000 units of multifamily and single-family affordable housing.
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Gormley supervised all multifamily housing efforts at a national construction firm. Before that role, he served as VP of real estate for one of the nation's largest community development banks in the nation. He has also originated LIHTC investments for a nationally recognized syndication firm and served as the rental programs manager for the State of Arizona.
Gormley has served as a speaker at various national conferences regarding financing and development of low- to moderate-income housing, including one sponsored by CohnReznick in San Francisco this past spring. He's a member of the Arizona Urban Land Institute's Housing Advisory Committee and a member of Lambda Alpha International, the Honorary Society for the Advancement of Land Economics.
