NEW YORK CITY—The law firm of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel has added another veteran real estate attorney to its executive suite.

Jerold P. Dornbush, who has more than 30 years in the legal profession, has joined the firm as special counsel to its real estate practice. He previously spent 14 years working as a real estate partner for Dornbush Schaeffer Strongin & Venaglia of New York City. In April, Andrew Charles joined Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel as a partner in the real estate practice.

During his legal career, Dornbush has advised and represented real estate owners, including retail and shopping center operators, public and private companies and commercial lenders, in transactions that involved leasing, sales, acquisitions, financings and real estate development. He has extensive experience representing large national restaurant chains, food service operators and hospitality clients on leasing, franchising, trademark license agreements, area development agreements and other types of transactions, the law firm states. He also has advised both commercial and residential developers on the negotiation of acquisitions, sales and financings deals.

As special counsel in Kramer Levin's real estate practice, Dornbush will continue to support clients in a variety of practice areas, including leasing and financing.

Says Jay A. Neveloff, “Jerold Dornbush is a highly respected New York real estate lawyer who complements our practice and adds value to the services we provide our clients. We are very pleased to welcome him to our team.”

Dornbush adds, “I was drawn to Kramer Levin by its supportive and collegial environment, as well. I am thrilled to join such a highly regarded team and contribute to the ongoing success of the firm and its clients.”
