PHILADELPHIA, PA—Village Green, one of the nation's oldest and largest luxury apartment owner-operators, will manage Alden Park apartments. The historic, 750-unit apartment community, located in East Falls/Manayunk near Philadelphia, PA, is owned by L3C Capital Partners, of New York. 

The 96-year-old Village Green has been expanding its third party management platform within the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast: Baltimore, Charleston and now Philadelphia.

“The region is a favorable environment for investment in apartments. This leads owners like L3C with multiple property locations and types – including unique historic buildings like Alden Park, to hire experienced and versatile national apartment management companies,” says Diane Batayeh, president and COO of Village Green. Village Green currently manages properties in 22 cities throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southwest and East Coast regions.

Alden Park is the 12th property in the approximately 3,500-unit portfolio that Village Green manages for L3C in Baltimore, Chicago and St. Louis. The nearly 100 year-old property is a collection of three buildings on a 38-acre park-like setting formerly known as the Justus C. Strawbridge estate. It has views of the adjacent Fairmount Park and is the largest residential property on the National Register of Historic Places.

Community amenities include a fitness center, tennis courts, outdoor grilling stations, outdoor pool with cabanas and 24-hour concierge services.
