Midway Debuts Look of 100 Park Apartments

AUSTIN--Midway's Century Square has unveiled a first look at 100 Park, an upscale 250-unit multifamily complex in College Station.

100 Park will anchor Century Square's east end and is conveniently located adjacent to onsite dining and entertainment options.

Leading the interior design for 100 Park is Mayfield and Ragni Studio, aka MaRS, a Houston-based design firm.

“We are excited to offer residents a stylish and active residential lifestyle that is currently not available in College Station,” Colleen McLaughlin, vice president of asset management at Midway, told GlobeSt.com. “100 Park will provide for working professionals all the modern amenities of urban living right at their doorstep. This project will appeal to the resident looking for an environment that contains a upscale residence and accommodates their busy lives and discerning taste. 100 Park will be unique for the Brazos Valley region.”

Austin-based STG Design is overseeing the architectural design of 100 Park. With a portfolio of projects including National Instruments, The Bill & Melinda Gates Computer Science Complex and Dell Computer Science Hall at The University of Texas at Austin, and Four Seasons Resort (West Indies), 100 Park will be STG Design's first multifamily project to be developed outside of Austin.

“100 Park has given us a great opportunity to expand our expertise into a new market,” says Larry Meeks, principal at STG Design. “Midway placed a great deal of emphasis on designing specifically for the community of College Station. The overall design, the project amenities and each individual apartment plan reflects Midway's focus on making this project a great addition to the community." 

100 Park will feature four floors with one and two bedroom floor plans. Square footage in each home ranges from 572 square feet to 1,633 square feet with the average size approximately 886 square feet, making the multifamily development one of the more spacious apartment communities in the Brazos Valley.

Century Square features 60 acres of retail, restaurant and entertainment options and 90,000 square feet of class A office space outfitted in a contemporary, modern aesthetic. The development also will house two full service hotels, The George (160 rooms) and Cavalry Court (140 rooms), developed in partnership with the Houston-based luxury hotel management firm The Valencia Group. Both hotel concepts are set to elevate the travel experience for College Station visitors and will feature a mixture of outdoor elements and high-end accommodations not traditionally seen in the area. Century Square's first phase is anticipated to be complete by fall 2016.
