NEW YORK CITY—Natasha Brown, a former SVP with JLL, has joined SL Green Realty Corp. as a VP where she will oversee leasing activity for a 10-building portfolio, including its newly acquired 11 Madison Ave. property.
Brown, who worked at JLL for the past seven years, will be in charge of leasing for the 8-million-square-foot portfolio that in addition to 11 Madison Ave., includes 1 Madison, 1515 Broadway, 485 Lexington Ave., 750 Third Ave., and 521 Fifth Ave. The REIT, New York City's largest office landlord acquired 11 Madison Ave. earlier this year in a blockbuster $2.285-billion deal.
“Natasha's knowledge, experience and industry contacts make her a perfect complement to the deep bench of leasing professionals on the SL Green team who know and understand Manhattan's ever changing real estate market,” says Steven Durels, EVP and director of leasing and real property for SL Green.
At JLL she was a tenant representative broker, where she represented such tenants as Invesco, Maverick Capital, Reservoir Capital and Lexington Partners. She also was a portfolio manager for tenants at JLL, including JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer and Ace American Insurance.
Previously, she was a tenant representative broker for the Staubach Co., where she successfully completed transactions totaling more than 2.5 million square feet worth an aggregate of $275 million. Early in her career, she was a paralegal with the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
