VOORHEES, NJ—Comcast Corporation is adding more than 100 seats to an existing call center in Voorhees, NJ with the expansion of its existing lease at the Voorhees Technology Center, 401 White Horse Road, Voorhees, NJ, Colliers International's Evan Zweben tells GlobeSt.com exclusively.

Colliers' Southern New Jersey team of Brian Sherlock and Zweben represented the landlord, LSREF2 Oreo, an affiliate of Dallas-based Lone Star Funds, and Binswanger's Marc Policarpo and Bob Corr represented Comcast in the expansion, which will bring Comcast's footprint in the building from the current 42,000 square feet to 150,000 square feet in the 215,000 square-foot building. Harris School of Business is the other tenant in the building.

When the expansion is completed, Comcast will have more than 400 employees in the Center, Zweben says.

The expansion leaves just three vacant spaces; first floor suites of 4,461 and 11,185 square feet and a  second floor suite of 18,946 square feet.  The larger suites are ready for custom fit-outs. The landlord has approved plans for upgrading the common area lobby and hallways.

"This lease continues a common theme in 2015, where landlords have spent capital dollars upgrading their assets to better compete in the marketplace.  With vacancy rates where they are, this is more important now than ever," says Sherlock.

Conveniently located between Routes 30 (White Horse Pike) & 561 (Haddonfield-Berlin Rd.), 401 White Horse Road, Voorhees, NJ is easily accessible to its tenant base. It's just a short drive from I-295 and Center City Philadelphia, is proximate to the PATCO train line, and has a NJ Transit Bus stop (Route 459) at its front door. Recent improvements to the common area, as well as a full service 150-seat cafeteria make this an ideal location for call centers, financial services, and back office operations.
