LOS ANGELES—Architecture and design firm Ware Malcomb has made a strategic move to relocate its headquarters offices to Downtown Los Angeles. According to the firm, the market is the center of real estate development activity and the perfect place for the company to expand. The firm's new location is at 915 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 2150.

"This was a strategic move that positions Ware Malcomb in the center of commercial real estate activity in Los Angeles that has been in the making for several years," Radwan Madani, principal of Ware Malcomb's Los Angeles office, tells GlobeSt.com. "We look forward to further expanding our reputation for outstanding design and client service from our new downtown location."

The firm's former headquarters was located in Santa Monica. In a recent interview, Nick Griffin of the Downtown Central Business Improvement District, explained that there were many tenants migrating to the Downtown Los Angeles market from Santa Monica because they preferred the culture and wanted to be in the city's emerging cultural hub. Ware Malcomb's move to the market echoes that sentiment. In the new location, they plan to expand both their employee and client base.

915 Wilshire is a Lincoln Property Co.-owned office building. The property is a 22-story class-A office tower with 385,588 square feet of rentable space, and is within close proximity to The Los Angeles Convention Center, The Music Center, The Staples Center, The Macy's Plaza and FIGat7th. Ware Malcomb considers it a central location. The Wilshire location is one of 17 offices for the North American company.
