EDISON, NJ—A restructured lease agreement will keep environmental engineering company Weston Solutions in the class A flex building it has occupied in the Federal Business Center in Raritan Center at 205 Campus Drive in Edison, NJ for 15 years.

The new lease agreement enabled Weston Solutions to reduce their leased area while increasing the value of their lease agreement. NAI James E. Hanson's Barry Mayer and Art Hixson represented the tenant in the new lease agreement.

"Weston Solutions has been a long-time tenant at 205 Campus and has seen firsthand the quality of Federal Business Center's top notch management and the benefits of this property's central location as they work often in the field," says Mayer. "The client's first priority was to reduce operating expenses while remaining in the office space that has been a proven asset for them over the past 15 years. Our understanding of the market and our reputation within the industry and the client's reputation and Federal Business Center's top-notch management allowed all parties to leave the negotiating table satisfied."

Weston Solutions, an employee-owned environmental management and engineering company serving federal, state and local governments, wanted to remain at its current location while reducing its footprint from 19,500 square feet. The resized 15,599 square-foot space will be used primarily for office and a small amount of equipment storage.

Raritan Center is near Exit 10 on the New Jersey Turnpike, the crossroads of I-287 and 440, the Garden State Parkway, and US Routes 1 and 9. There is also nearby passenger and freight rail.
