JAB is paying $21 per share for Krispy Kreme, representing a premium of about 25% on Friday's closing price. Shares in the retailer had climbed to $20.92 in afternoon trading Monday, and were trading at slightly more than $21 late Tuesday morning. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter.
