JESSUP, MD—Aireco Supplyhas leased 88,000-square-feet at 8230 Sandy Ct. in the Baltimore Washington Industrial Park from Prologis, according to Cushman & Wakefield. 8230 Sandy Ct. is a light distribution, which is now fully occupied. The other tenant is Reliable Tire.
Cushman & Wakefield's Tilghman Herring, Jarred Testa and Michael Walsh represented Prologis in this transaction. C&W was tapped by the REIT in 2014 as exclusive leasing agent for its Baltimore Washington Industrial Park portfolio, a multi-tenanted complex of eight office-warehouse buildings totaling 828,000 square feet. In the last two years, some 225,000 square feet in the portfolio have been signed, bringing it from 73% to 100% leased at present.
Part of the leasing activity has been due to renovations made at some of the buildings, such asa 8230 Sandy Ct., where the offices were modernized and energy efficient lighting was added, according to Danielle Schline, Senior Leasing Manager for Prologis.
