GLENARDEN, MD--Prince George's County will be getting its first Nordstrom Rack store at Woodmore Towne Centre, a 245-acre mixed use community that has a sizeable retail component developed by Petrie Richardson Ventures and Prudential Real Estate Investors.
Petrie Richardson and Prudential Real Estate have acquired a five-acre land parcel from DR Horton, which has developed the residential portion of Woodmore. The planned 30,000-square foot Nordstrom Pack will be developed, along with another 29,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, in phase two of Woodmore's development.
Opened in 2010, the 700,000-square foot Woodmore Towne Centre is anchored by Wegmans, Costco, JC Penney, Best Buy and Petco.
The Centre is currently 90% leased, following the leasing of several new tenants including 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza, Hook and Reel Cajun Seafood Restaurant, Honu Hawaiian BBQ, Kobe Japanese Steak & Food, Kumon Learning Center and Wings 21.
