600 Massachusetts Ave.

WASHINGTON, DC--Haworth, a business furniture, interior architecture and tech solutions firm has just signed a lease for 13,154 square feet at 600 Massachusetts Ave., NW, one of the District's many trophy buildings that is coming online, in this case, within the next few months.

Cushman & Wakefield's Phillip Thomas, Kerri Mulligan and Stephanie Heffernan represented building co-developers and co-owners Gould Property Co. and Oxford Properties Group. Audra Cunningham, Patt Marr, Sally Wilson and Jennifer Tatum of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Haworth.

The major tenant in the 10-story building will be Venable LLP, which signed a prelease for 245,000 square feet with plans to move in April 2017. That left 120,000 square feet of multi-tenant space available. There is also 20,000-square feet of retail, which will be occupied by a Founding Farmers restaurant.
